Description: Description: Steve Arrington made his mark as a lead singer for the Funk group Slave. His impact was immediate, as he took Slave to new musical heights, with his unparalleled vocalizations. Whatever transpired that caused Steve to separate from the group Slave, was one of those things that happens to musical groups. Out of the smoke of their separation emerged Steve Arrington's Hall of Fame, a collection of former Slave members and close friends who kept the 'Ultimate Invade' established in the world of Funk. Their debut album was phenomenal to say the least. Positive Power was on the same musical level that you come to expect from Steve. The joint starts off with '15 Rounds', a track that is laced with funky bass, and guitar licks that has come to be The Hall of Fame's trademark. Steve always laid it down firm on the ballads, and 'Sugar Momma Baby' was one of those tracks that you could hand dance to at the clubs. 'What Do You Want From Me', is for the bass players. A total knockout track laced with funky bass riffs. 'Put Money On It' is another solid track to listen to, as Steve takes his vocal scats to the pinnacle. Although Steve no longer does secular music, his legacy will endure through time.
