Description: I’m pleased to offer this antique sterling top powder jar. The sterling work is by Foster and Bailey of Providence, Rhode Island. They were active from 1878 to 1898. There is a small dent that a good silversmith could probably hammer out. Beautiful Art Nouveau inspired design with a fanciful stylistic “M” monogram. Top Diameter is 3-1/2 inches and overall it measures 2-1/8 inches high. The sterling weighs 35 grams.
