Description: This is a stellar 1920s liquid silk cape! It is even more stunning in person with a drape that evokes vampires or screen sirens. It's a hooded cape that drapes to the floor. Beautiful liquid gold silk lining. It does need some work as one of the seams has come apart, as photographed. Additionally, the tie at the front needs to be replaced. It's priced as listed due to this damage, but this cape would easily fetch hundreds of dollars. This cape has been extensively cleaned as when I received it, it had a strong odor of cigarette smoke, which is to be expected for a cape that was likely used in theater/musical performances from the 1920s. It no longer has a smoke odor.
