Description: Aja was released in 1977; this sixth Steely Dan album is a limited edition/coloured vinyl released by ABC Records. Both jacket and album are in very good - excellent condition. 9022-1006. Cuts include Black Cow, Aja, Deacon Blues, Peg, Home at Last, I Got the News, and Josie. One reviewer said Aja was "as bold as records get ... brave, idiosyncratic, and personal". Walter Becker and Donald Fagan came from New York and New Jersey (they met at Bard College in New York State), and their sensibilities were plainly shaped by an East Coast cynicism, which surfaces in Aja's lyrics. This is a must-have for Steely Dan acolytes. Note: I haven't had a turntable in decades, so I cannot guarantee the condition/sound of the album. I am making assessments based on its appearance and my knowledge of its play history, care and storage. Further, I have instituted a no-return policy, so if you decide to purchase this album, it's final.
