Description: Statue of Liberty Americana Art 10" x 30" Painting on Canvas "Mother of Exiles" I've always loved the Statue of Liberty. I've drawn her, painted her and cut stencils of her more times than I can remember. Lately I've been focused more to her original intent. Considering the current political climate, I decided to paint her again with an emphasis toward her maternal and accepting connotations. This painting is a celebration of women, of love, nurturing, protection, diversity, and all of the best of what America is and was. Canvas size is 10" x 30" and has the hanging hardware attached. Black, blue, and red spray paint against a grey/cream background of acrylic washes over distressed text.
