Description: Bill Gordon, son of a game warden, is the proudest young man in the State of Maine when, at the age of 18, he receives his first license to guide fishermen and hunters from "outside". This is the story of Bill's summer as a guide, of his adventures on trout and salmon waters and in the deep woods. This 75 year old former library book is in good, used condition. It does have the markings and insignia associated with a former library book. The very top of the back cover has a small section, (less than one inch), that appears to be torn, (see closeup photo). At one time the corner of page 28 was folded over, (see closeup photo). I found two places where someone made a small mark, perhaps to indicate where they had left off reading, (see closeup photo). Otherwise I see no flaws with this book. Please see photos. 9
