Description: Original late 1800s cast iron barn trolley attachment with a hook that locks-on. We are not sure how this works or to what it attaches, if not a hay fork and trolley system. It might be called a "trip block." There are 2 parts sticking out from the device that look like metal hooks. It appears they were originally loops, but they were modified to work as hooks a very long time ago. The latch moves but is a bit stiff because it hasn't been oiled.
