Description: Star Wars / Indiana Jones, Text Descriptions and Valuation This bundle contains several books in varying states of wear. See pictures for more details, and scroll down for a text description of each item. There's an Indiana Jones book thrown in for fun as well. Indiana was the name of George Lucas' dog, who always rode shotgun in his car, like Chewbacca. This dog would play a part in the inspiration for Chewbacca, actually. Well in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, his father, played by Sean Connery, reveals Indy was, in fact, named after the dog. Accordingly there's a Han / Chewie / Indiana Jones link built into the background lore of the Indiana Jones series. Some fans jokingly call Indiana Han's carbonite fever fantasy. Whatever the case, this IP is collateral to Star Wars, and so an Indiana Jones Extended Universe book has been thrown in just to vary the grouping. Feel free to send a message with any questions. Indiana Jones and the Genesis Deluge by Rob MacGregor 1992 Bantam Book Indiana Jones is still shaking things up, but perhaps the latest movies don't best capture the magic of the original trilogy. This book does, as do many others in this series. It's a fine read that makes the reader feel like they are actively participating in a real adventure with Indy himself. This book is well-written, and it's in pretty good condition. It does have cosmetic damage, but this is a first printing, first edition of this extended universe novel in the Indiana Jones timeline. You'll enjoy this a lot more than the recent Disney movie. It's classic, collectible, rare, and fun (Indiana Jones and the Genesis Deluge, Rob MacGreggor, Fantasy, Action, Adventure, Mystery, Extended Universe, Film Tie-In, Series, Fun, Adventure, Collectible, Rare, Vintage). Single Price: $79.99 Star Wars : From the Adventures of Luke Skywalker, George Lucas, 1st ed, 8th prt Star Wars changed world culture, and this paperback was printed a month after the movie came out. Famously, the novel was published a year before the film was released. This edition is an 8th printing of that first edition, and it is in paperback. The quality is very good, there are minor cosmetic issues; the book is still readable, and very collectible. (STAR WARS, GEORGE LUCAS, FIRST EDITION, EIGTH PRINTING, PUBLISHED 1 MONTH AFTER THE MOVIE CAME OUT) Single Price: $99.99 Star Wars: Incredible Cross-Sections, David West Reynolds, 1998, 1st Ed, 1st Prt Star Wars: Incredible Cross-Sections The Ultimate Guide to Star Wars Vehicles and Spacecraft was written by David West Reynolds. It was illustrated by Hans Jenssen and Richard Chasemore. This copy is the first edition, first printing of this book. The dust jacket has some wear, but the book itself is in very good to fine condition. It's a very large, beautiful book filled with full-color cross-sections of favorite Original Trilogy spacecraft and other vehicles. 31 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $40.55 Star Wars, X-Wing: Wraith Squadron, 1998, SC, 1st Ed., 1st Printing, Collectible The X-Wing Rogue Squadron books were a highlight of the Star Wars: Extended Universe series. They were popular in the nineties, and into the 2000s. This is a paperback, the fifth in the series overall, and appears to be a first edition, first printing. It is certainly the first print run in paperback of the first edition of the text. Research did not reveal a hardcover copy of this book. Research indicates these were released straight to paperback, making this a true first edition, first printing. The book is collectible regardless, and in fine condition. There is very mild wear, cosmetic, and to be expected. The spine is unbroken, pages sit firmly in the binding, pages are unmarked. There is evidence of a mild dog-ear on the rear cover that has not compromised the integrity of the rear cover, see pictures. There is also some scuffing on the bottom outside edge of the rear cover. 403 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $29.99 Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones Dark Horse Comics, 1st ed, 1st print This is a graphic novelization of Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
