Description: The ' Star ' was launched in 1863 . It is the world's oldest active sailing vessel and oldest iron-hulled merchant ship still afloat. She was retired in 1926 but restored as a seaworthy museum ship in 1962-63 and home-ported in San Diego . In 1976 it was put out to sea once more, sailing as part of the US Bicentennial celebration. The approximate 4 x 6 inch card is in good condition, some dings, aging on the back, with wear on the scalloped corners.
