Description: THE ART: "Green Ombre Transom" Large panel Size 8.75" x 33" (approx.) Original design copyright 2023* This window features tones of purple in an ombre (light to dark) design and lots of bevels to add sparkle! The window is symmetrical, photos show the window in different lights. This is also available in custom colors and sizes. This window can be hung horizontal or vertical. Circle hooks are placed both horizontal and vertical. Chain can be purchased at Walmart or the window can be built in. THE PROCESS:First, Linda chooses each piece of glass for beautiful color and drama. Additional glass is chosen to add texture and sparkle to the design. In a time extensive process, one by one, each piece of glass is hand cut, fitted, wrapped in foil or lead came and soldered. The window is framed in sturdy zinc with hooks included at the top. The completed window is hand packed in our unique shipping method. This panel is built with the copper foil and lead came technique and black patina is applied. with a sturdy zinc frame and then. Last, the panel is buffed and polished with glass wax. THE ARTISTS:About the Artists: Robert Neely and Linda Hiatt-Neely have bachelor's degrees in fine art and have been designing stained glass gifts and windows for since 1985. Linda received her master's degree in 2011 from Lesley University. Jessica Neely is our new artist that is designing and creating her own windows. SHIPPING:The item is packaged very carefully for the safest delivery. We use Federal Express and have worked with them to design an expert shipping method that has a guarantee the glass will be delivered safely. (See diagram of our method of shipping layers.) We use specialty foam, bubble wrap and recycled packing cushion using recycled newspaper end rolls. We are proud to know the money we spend on newspaper packing goes directly back into our local schools to fund education programs.
