It features the same full HD 1/2" CMOS image sensors and 35Mbps XDCAM EX recording but re-packaged into a larger chassis featuring a superb colour LCD monocular viewfinder, ergonomic shoulder brace and interchangeable EX lens mount. Even though it's not a full size shoulder-mount camcorder, the PMW-EX3's innovative shoulder-brace design means that it is far more stable for handheld shooting.
