Description: 1946 Sonora RQU 222. AM broadcast receiver. Table model. Six tube chassis, 6AM circuits. AC/DC 117V. 35 Watts. Bakelite case and knobs. Built-in antenna and a back cover. A beautiful radio from 1946. Acquired from a collector downsizing. The clean chassis was removed and sent to our technician for a complete rebuild and alignment. This beautiful radio tunes in stations with ease. A new on/off volume switch was installed. A new dial cord, dial light, pads and a line cord were installed. The speaker was repaired and sounds great. A new back cover was made. The Bakelite case required to be repainted along with the knobs.
