The high integral wet strength of DURAFIBER Ag facilitates easy one-piece removal from the moist wound bed and cavity wounds so minimizing trauma to the wound and pain to the patient on removal. The silver provides the antimicrobial properties intended to reduce or inhibit microbial colonization of the device.
