Description: Revered Oglala Lakota artist Donald D. Ruleaux (1931-2020) worked with One Nation Gallery in Taos, New Mexico to produce four serigraphs of his original watercolor paintings. Starting in 1993 with "THE WHITE BUFFALO" each was completed as a limited edition of 200 signed and numbered, 28 Artist's Proofs and 2 Printer's Proofs. "THIS MANY GO SWIFTLY" and "THIS MANY GO SWIFTLY, 2" were followed by "PONIES COME RUNNING" in 1996. Each was printed by Martin-John Graphics of Denver, Colorado. Each print was hand registered and hand pulled. Each print was hand signed and numbered in pencil by artist Donald Ruleaux. "THE WHITE BUFFALO" is 15" by 36". "PONIES COME RUNNING" was done as a companion piece for "THE WHITE BUFFALO". The two Go Swiftly prints were printed on a single large sheet of paper with the images head to head. The printer contacted Don with the idea. Don said it was ok if he could recolor the reversed image using the same colors, which he did. The 4 prints will be shipped by Priority Mail through the U.S. Post Office. Included will be a Certificate of Authenticity for each print and a short biography of the artist.
