Description: Silver BEAR brooch/pin, incised details on body & face, marked on back (The) Robbins Co / Attleboro / Mass, ca1910s-30s. The bear measures 2 1/8" L x 1 1/2" H. Not marked with Robbins mark nor Sterling. Charles May Robbins (1856-1929) founded the company in 1892 and retired in 1910. The company was renamed Robbins Co. in 1912. This item may be a California Bear souvenir. It is lightly tarnished (seller did not polish); it's catch and pin are slightly worn. Domestic buyer pays $3.70 S&H. No International sales.
