Description: Signed first edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Theology of Romantic Love: A Study in the Writings of Charles Williams by Mary McDermott Shideler (Harper & Brothers, 1962). Signed and inscribed by Shideler on reverse of half title page. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and tears. Blemish towards base of jacket spine where a sticker was apparently removed. Large tear along rear joint of jacket. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped.
