Description: The Pilot Mountain turquoise mine is located in Northern Nevada. This hard turquoise is highly sought after for its calming light blue with deep green in the same stone. The alluring, light blue in this stone has the distinctive Pilot Mountain deep green in a faint section near the matrix. The bezel surrounding this awesome stone is masterfully crafted by renouned Navajo artist Phyllis Smith with twisted rope and cut out work. The stone and surrounding bezel measures 7/8" tall (NOT including the bail) by 5/8" at the widest point. The heavy, sterling bail is 1/2" and has a 6 mm opening. Crafted entirely of sterling silver.
