A Swedish-American, she married an Italian-American and wrote three novels about Italian immigrant families in Wooster Square, New Haven, Connecticut. At the age of 75, she went on to be a publisher. As of this year, 2008, she has published 10 of her books. These books include two Swedish immigrant novels and an anthology of her best published short stories.
