Bonsai Tree Shimpaku Itoigawa 11.5” Tall, Wire Trained, Quality Chinese Pot

Description: Outdoor only, Juniperus chinensis Itoigawa Shimpaku Windswept “Southwestern” styling, Bonsai with great beginnings. Grown from 3 cuttings, it has been fully wired trained. One of the 3 trees is dead and has been treated with lime sulfur. The canopy extends approximately 5 1/2” beyond the pots edge. This planting now stands approximately 11.5” tall, from the bottom of the pots feet, to the trees top. Tree has both Shari and jin, incorporated into its group design. There is one small, completely dead and lime sulfured tree. This group was designed with a “southwest” juniper inspired style. Planted in a rectangular unglazed Chinese pot. The pot measures approximately 6 1/4” 4 1/2” and is 2 1/2” tall from the bottom of its feet to its lip. I have personally tended this planting from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. As with all bonsai, the training never stops. This tree has some training wires in place, wire has been removed from its lime sulfur treated Jins.
