The foam around the microphone has kind of disintegrated with age and not sure if the battery charger or the batteries themselves are not working but one of the two is an issue. This is also not the correct case for this particular camcorder but will ship with just in case you would like to use for accessories. It does include an extra battery pack. The Phillips battery is included. We can also exclude the case as well if shipping becomes an issue.
