Description: MAKER: Though these are marked as Sevres for 1756, it is more likely they are by Edme Samson or a similar maker in the late 19th century during the Louis XVI revival. Craftsmanship is excellent. MATERIAL: Porcelain PIECE NAME: Pair of Lidded Vases DIMENSIONS: 8 3/4" tall with lid, 7 1/4" withoout by 3 5/8" at widest. WEIGHT: 2lb 5.4oz CONDITION: One is in excellent condition and free of damage. The other has had the lid and top rim restored. I believe the cork was added to help prevent the lid from falling off, they could easily be removed if desired. Please review all images and contact me with any questions.
