Description: Overall good condition for age of these and prior use. Likely made and hand painted in Japan but they are unmarked. Both have stoppers as found (not cork so In am unsure if they are original or replacements). They both show some minor crazing and some loss of the cold paint. Salt has its rhinestone bow tie, Pepper is missing his rhinestone as shown. Salt has a very minor chip on underside of his “salt hopper” sign (harder to see without close inspection). In close inspection, salt also has a hairline crack around lower part that does not compromise integrity or cuteness of the shaker (possibly a glaze crack not a repair).
