Description: Set of 4 Zeh Scherzer Pink Floral , Green & Gold Luncheon Plates C. 1880 - 1918 Very pretty set of 4 porcelain luncheon plates. Nicely decorated with small pink flowers in the center over green. There are 5 small gold gilt flowers around the pink flowers and then a ring of fancy gold gilding over green. The border of the plate has fancy relief molded scrollwork designs that are colored green, above four sections of small pink flowers with fancy gold gilt designs in between. The very edge of the plates has gold gilding. Marked Z. S. & Co Bavaria on the reverse in green. This mark was used by Zeh Scherzer & Co between 1880 and 1918. Very minor usage wear to the center of two of the plates and some very minor wear to the gilding on all of them. One of the plates has two chips to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition with no other chips or cracks. Each plate measures approximately 8 1/4 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
