The richly decorated border pattern showcases colourful stylized flowers and foliage and the plate has a slightly scalloped rim and broad gold gilt rim decoration. The Masons Ironstone Chaucer Canterbury Tales plate is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or visible scratches. The gold rim is in excellent condition. There may be wear consistent with normal use as this is a preowned item, however it in such good condition it was very well cared for.
