Lovely stoneware mugs made by the Monroe Salt Works of Monroe Maine. The underside has the MSW raised mark and Monroe Salt Works - Monroe Maine stamped in the clay. This mug has good weight to it. Perfect for coffee, tea or hot chocolate. This stoneware coffee cup has a nice, colorful design of grape clusters, an apple and pears on the front. The rim has a blue and brown salt glaze. Dimensions: Width: 5" incl handle; Height: 4" NEVER USED. No chips, cracks, crazing or any damage. Glaze imperfections, if any, are original to the piece. Has been neatly packed in a sealed storage container for decades. Please refer to photos before purchasing. I have 4 of these mugs, in total.
