Commissioned by Banca Unione di Milano The graphic with the “Le Monete” decoration represents eight variations on the theme of coins made in black and pure gold at the third firing; in ceramics, the term “third firing” refers to the third firing that is applied to an object to add decorations, in particular those in pure gold, a technique that requires great skill and precision.
