The paper is four sides and contains some very interesting news from the period just prior to the American Revolution. Some of the articles are: Boston, guards are placed at the entrance of the town, siege of Boston - Philadelphia, city diplomats from several PA Counties prepare a set of "General Resolutions", suffering of our brethern in Boston and Massachusetts Bay, support measures to preserve and secure the Rights and Liberties of the inhabitants of the country... - Letter from Philadelphia, Indians ready to go to war, scalpings - Meeting of a number of inhabitants of Bucky County (PA). - Captain Maitlan of ship Magna Carta narrowly escaping tar and feathering at Charles-Town. Also European news and several articles including one titled - "A new Treatise on Venereal Disease". There are also several advertisements. The paper is in good condition for it's age with some age darkening to the paper with a split at the top of the main fold and slight loss in the upper left corner. Measures 18" x 12 3/8".
