Description: Seiko World Time LCD quartz watch. Model M158-5009. Commonly called the “lemon face” and “Pan Am” watch. The yellow LCD display is easy to see in low light and was popular with airline pilots. All stainless steel bezel with original stainless steel bracelet (Z129) with some removable links. Black dial frame with white and blue city markers to identify different time zones. The time display is in the 24-hour format. Other features include month/date, day of week, and perpetual calendar through 2009. This watch does NOT have an alarm feature. I set the year to 1996 since that has the same calendar year as 2024. It utilizes a center push/pull crown to select time zone and to set the watch. Dated from 1977. The overall condition of this vintage time piece is very nice. The microlight works and the watch is keeping good time. The case has a brushed finish on top and highly polished finishing on the sides and bottom. There are scratches and small indentations due to use and age (see pics). The condition of the crystal is nearly perfect with no visible scratches. The LCD display has no missing segments and is nice and bright. Some of these models have displays that have greatly faded over time. The rear battery hatch turns easily, and it looks like the rubber gasket is gone. The watch has been completely disassembled and cleaned. All the pushers work easily and properly. The watch comes as is with no returns due to being over 45 years old. Shipping costs in the United States is between $5 and $6.
