Description: THIS AUCTION LOT CONSISTS OF: One large original pre-Prohibition 100+ year old wine pitcher produced for the Jaffe & Co. Inc. liquor distributorship. That firm was founded in Seattle's old-town Pioneer Square neighborhood (at 116-117 Second Avenue), operating there from 1889 into 1914. We are not experts on this, so don't know if this would be considered bone china or ceramic. Design features purple grape clusters, and gilded bands and handle. Bottom has a faint Maker's Mark that shows a royal crown and the word "Sterling." SIZE: 10.5-inches tall X 4.5-inches wide at base. CONDITION: Excellent.
