Faced with the fall of the River Nile, a desert on the rise, a newly awakened army of the dead, a ruthless treasure hunter and the threat of being instantly turned to stone, the gang sets off to explore Cleopatra's tomb. Things go awry when Velma gets turned into stone and Scooby and Shaggy get cut off from Fred and Daphne. In an odd turn of events, it's Shaggy and Scooby who persevere to solve the mysteries of the fallen river and the army of the dead. Problem is, if Cleopatra's curse is a hoax like the gang believes, why is Velma still solid stone?
