HUMMEL CANDLES Germany Hand Dipped Made in West Germany Distributed by Schmid Bros. Boston Mass.Candle measures approximately 7 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. Small attached plate is about 4 1/2 inches in diameter. It looks like the candle may have been gently melted at bottom to attach to plate - it may be attached some other way because it is very secure. Little plate says Jingle bells and is COMPLETELY crazed. Entire plate shows crazing ( small cracks beneath finish). The candle does have a few marks and scratches/dents and there is some wrinkling that shows in Hummel illustration - Please see photos in listing. It does show some aging and storage/display wear, but overall remains in good shape. Candle has NOT been burned. Original Hummel hang tag and stuck on Schmid dated tag.
