Description: 2 rare Salisbury photos. 1952 visit by Queen Elizabeth II, showing her Daimler and people lining the street. The second photo is of some sort of parade involving the Women's League Of Health and Beauty. I have no more information about this and don't know if it's from the same day or not, but the signage on the vehicle shows it as being Salisbury. The size of this photo is about 21 x 16 cm. These are both prints from the time, and not modern reprints, and are very possibly unique copies. They were in with some other Salisbury related items, including a couple of press photos and so might be press photos themselves, though they are not at all in any way marked as being such.
