He began painting when he was 12 and quickly gained recognition within a span of just a year. Even when he was just a junior high student, he taught at local high school. Later on, he attracted many other prominent artists around the locals and Byun Si Jin, former university president of Jo Joo island, taught Sam personally.He later moved to France in 1973 and continued his pursuit in art. He returned to S. Korea briefly in 1984 to compete in national Olympic sponsored art competition and won a gold medal. His works are in many collections around the world such as Hyundai Corporation for permanent display, private collection of President of Cyprus at 1986, and many more. Buyer pays shipping.
