Description: Two oversized (11.5" x 7.25") covers showing 2 varieties of RPSS Customs Label LB5. The first is identical to the label depicted as LB5 in the April 2023 Dragon's Den article about these labels. It is black on green paper with the C1 at top right widely spaced. The second is mostly identical, but the C1 is narrowly spaced. The narrow spaced item was postmarked 1/31/72 vs. 12/7/71 for the wide spaced variety. Not much difference, but it probably suggests that a later printing had the narrow spacing. The third photograph shows the two labels side by side so you can see the difference. The 1/31/72 usage is after the latest known use reported as 1/10/72 in the Dragon Den article making this potentially the latest known use of the LB5 label (although I suspect that if the narrow spaced variety is a later printing that others used at a later date exist).
