Gurdjieff is one of the most mysterious Teachers of the 20th century, who had a tremendous influence on his contemporaries around the world. The book offered to the reader is a diary of meetings with G.I. Gurdjieff, written by one of his students. According to the material it contains, it significantly complements such well-known books by Uspensky as “The Fourth Way” and “In Search of the Miraculous.” In addition, the "Diary" contains a psychological key to understanding Gurdjieff's book "Everything and Everything", written in an allegorical form. Gurdjieff himself considered human development necessarily as a combination of development along the lines of knowledge and being - and the life of Ch.S. Notta (1887-1978) is the embodiment of such harmonic development. The two books he wrote cover the period from his acquaintance with Gurdjieff's teachings in 1923 to the author's extreme old age (1968). Thanks to these books, we have the opportunity to walk along with the author his life path, the path of conscious work and intentional suffering - and growth, continuous inner growth and search.
