This is from a lot of ruby in zoisite we obtained 20 years ago. These will polish a beautiful deep red with green accents. Looks like with a little polishing these will have good lapidary potential. Tumbling these is a popular option. Could be used for pendants or cabs. They makes a good specimens, too. Will draw the eyes to any area of the collection you place it. The ruby portion fluoresces red and moderately bright under a UV LW lamp. The black mineral is hornblende. The material was wet when the photo was taken to simulate the color when polished. The new owner will receive the pieces seen in the photos.
