Description: Here we have a gorgeous RS Prussia-Style, hand-painted, molded bowl with reticulated purple hearts and a pearlized glaze with yellow and pink roses at the center and pale dusty blue and white flowers. Scrolled hearts with heavily embossed edges and gold detailing. Most likely German or Austrian, very early 20th century production. Very clean, fresh and beautiful piece in overall very-good to excellent antique condition, with no cracks, stains, silver/gray utensil marks, deep scratches or crazing. Extensive wear to gold, numerous light, completely colorless, light scratches to the glaze, the kind that show up when you hold the piece up at just the right angle to a bright source of light. Requires very close inspection to see those. Two of the teeniest possible fleabites at the rim that can be felt but not seen unless under magnification. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
