Description: Royal Ironstone China Charles Meakin England Covered Serving Dish Cassarole 1890 Beautiful serving dish from the late 1800s - straight out of a Texas farm house! I don't know the history of this piece, other than my family member found it on a farmhouse when they moved there. It's been in storage for over 20 years because they didn't know what to do with it. It is a vivid bright white. The lid has some stains and one corner is chipped. Considering the age of this piece (based on the makers mark on the bottom) this over 100 years old. It measures: 10 inches wide 6 inches across widest point Please see photos as I do my best to accurately convey condition. NOTE: Colors in photos may appear slightly different because of photographylighting and phone/computer screens, etc. We check every item as thoroughly as possible, for holes, stains, fading, odors, chips/damage, etc. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
