Description: Vintage, pre State of Israel, bevel-matted print from an old portfolio of drawings by Gabriella Rosenthal. Each drawing depicts a scene of people in and around Jerusalem. Each of the drawing is tipped-in (pasted onto) a dark gray background paper, signed in the plate, and titled under the image in both english and hebrew. These are very beautiful, colorful drawings and quite rare. They would look wonderful in a grouping of like prints. TITLE: SHOE DEALER ARTIST: Gabriella Rosenthal CONDITION: EXCELLENT — Clean, clear, bright and very colorful; no foxing or tears, and GOOD MARGINS. A REALLY NICE IMAGE. NICE DARK LINES AND DEFINITION. [NOTE: SMALL CHIP MISSING FROM LOWER RIGHT CORNER.] This prints in this series were undated, but we estimate the portfolio to be from c1930, so it's about 80 years old and guaranteed to be original. It’s an authentic old print from the aforementioned publication, and NOT A REPRODUCTION. The print is 6 1/2" x 9" (which includes the gray border around the image).
