These are garden roses and should be planted directly in the garden. Please do not plant them in pots, as they may not develop properly. Hybrid tea roses are created by grafting buds from a desirable parent plant onto hardy, disease-resistant rootstocks. Due to this process, genetic mutations can occasionally occur, resulting in a different colored bloom. Hybrid tea roses, in particular, are known for this trait. Several factors, such as changes in growing conditions, soil pH, nutrient availability (like phosphorus or potassium), temperature, sunlight, and other environmental conditions, can affect petal pigmentation and cause these variations. The wax protects the branches from atmospheric influences, such as cold, rain, strong sun and anything that can affect the young branches and the graft, after planting.The wax acts as a sealant to reduce the stress on the roses during transit and up until the time they can be planted and established into ground soil. Do not remove the wax, this thin coat wax will fall apart!!!
