These are garden roses and should be planted directly in the garden. Please do not plant them in pots, as they may not develop properly. Hybrid tea roses are created by grafting buds from a desirable parent plant onto hardy, disease-resistant rootstocks. Due to this process, genetic mutations can occasionally occur, resulting in a different colored bloom. Hybrid tea roses, in particular, are known for this trait. Several factors, such as changes in growing conditions, soil pH, nutrient availability (like phosphorus or potassium), temperature, sunlight, and other environmental conditions, can affect petal pigmentation and cause these variations. Black Night is a tea hybrid rose with kitschy Black red colors and intense aroma. The plant reaches a height of 80 to 120 cm and a bush diameter of 55-65 cm. Flowering is in May-October. Rose Black Night is suitable for growing in the garden and for making bouquets. Before planting the rose, refresh the roots, shortening them with 1 or 2 cm. This will stimulate the formation of young roots. Dig a hole about 30 cm deep. Mix the excavated soil with well-rotted manure in a ratio of 1: 1. Place the rose in the dug hole, not folding the root system and making sure the graft stays exactly at ground level. Pour soil near the roots and compact very well. After planting, water abundantly until water is retained on top. This helps the soil to settle better around the roots and to set off successfully. It is important to know that these flowers do not look at the water like the sun. It is not good to water the plants too often. Better once a week, but quality, than a few days less. The rose is watered only at the root and in the early dawn or afternoon. It is good that water does not reach their leaves, because they will turn black and dry out. Don't trying to scrape the wax off of the branches as this can bruise or even cut into the stem causing injury and creating an entry point for disease!!! The wax is a thin coat and is designed to break down quickly and flake away, over time! The bare-root rose are slicked with a coat of paraffin wax to prevent moisture loss and dessication. The wax protects the branches from atmospheric influences, such as cold, rain, strong sun and anything that can affect the young branches and the graft, after planting.The wax acts as a sealant to reduce the stress on the roses during transit and up until the time they can be planted and established into ground soil. Do not remove the wax, this thin coat wax will fall apart!!!
