Description: Approximately 4.5x6" Ron Solonas was born in Purce Coupe BC, but raised in McLeod Lake. He is of Sekani ancestry. As a natural artist first arriving in Vancouver in 1983, he met up with a Co-op of West Coast artists, on of whom was Randy Stiglitz, a carver from Port Alberni. Randy taught Ron the West Coast style of art. He also carves masks, talking sticks, and small totem poles.
