Description: Very old hand woven Romanian peasant bed spread, folk bed cover, traditional blanket. It is hand woven with wool on cotton / hemp. The origin is South of Romania, near Danube river and is hand woven with geometrical pattern. Because it was hand woven in a cottage loom which is narrow, the blanket had to be sewn together from two panels.Vibrant colors : yellow and green. Size 1,84 m x 1,54 m ( 72 x 60 inches )Condition : good to very good with minor traces of wear . Minor discoloration for the green wool because of the blanket age and because the thread was dyed at home too .Dry clean only , please . Shipping cost is 24 $ worldwide .
