This kind of reliefs were very common on Roman pottery and was perfect for celebrations related with harvest season, or adoration of Bacchus, god of wine and the grape harvest. Our Roman potteries are 100% handmade and are manufactured just like in the Roman era. We use a natural slip that results in a very soft touch.
