Offered here is a vintage Rolex Ref. 1680 Mark IV "Red" Submariner circa 1973. A true holy grail of Rolex Dive pieces, the reference 1680 was the first Rolex Submariner to incorporate a date function and was only produced for a brief period of years leading into the early nineteen seventies. This Mark IV features its correct open sixes, red submariner lettering printed over the initial white base lettering, and "Feet First" depth text as opposed to the "Meter First" depth rating along with lovely natural patina along the entirety of the dial. It comes complete with a 93150 stainless steel bracelet with 501B center wedge links.These distinct details along with the pieces excellent vintage condition and timekeeping makes it a particularly rare and sought after dial variant.
