Description: I have this 1973 paperback book on Roberto Clemente. Front part of book is written in English, middle of the book has black and white photos, back of book is written in Spanish. Roberto was an accomplished baseball player for the Pittsburg Pirates. He used his superstar status to help his native Puerto Ricans. He died in a plane crash December 31, 1972 at the age of 38. He was on a humanitarian mission to help people from the earthquake in Nicaragua. Book is in good condition with some staining as shown and has 175 pages. A good read for any baseball fan.
