Robert Daniel (1936-2012) represented the 4th district of Virginia in the United States House of Representatives for five terms from 1973-1983. Before his time in office, he spent some time in the United States Army and with the C.I.A. from 1964-1968. He operated Brandon Plantation, a farm that his ancestors owned until the year 2013. His father, one of the survivors of the infamous sinking of the RMS Titanic, purchased the land. This farm is a National Historic Landmark and one of the oldest farms in the United States still in operation. Paperclip impression. Otherwise, fine condition.
