Each is an edition of 30 and is not numbered on the lithograph. The information is from the cover page of the portfolio and we are not including the portfolio cover page, merely providing a copy as photograph 4. This piece is: To Raised Horizons, Edition size of 30, 22" x 17" approximate size including margins, numbered lower left in pencil #2 (2 of 12 in the portfolio) and signed lower right and dated in pencil: R. A. Florsheim 51'. A twentieth-century American printmaker, painter, sculptor, educator and writer, Richard Florsheim first studied at the University of Chicago before going to New York to study at the Museum of Modern Art and at the Metropolitan Museum, under Aaron Bohrod. His education was completed in Paris at the Musee Nationale d'Art Moderne.Florsheim gained recognition in the late 1930's when he first began exhibiting his art. Venues included the Salon des Refuses, Paris; the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; the Los Angeles County Museum and the San Francisco Museum of Art.Richard Florsheim was a full member of the American Graphic Artists, the Audubon Artists, the Artists Equity Association and the National Academy of Design.
