Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Rhythm Heritage titled "Theme For Starsky and Hutch Stereo b/w Mono", originally released in 1977 by ABC Records as a promotional copy, as indicated by "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" on the white labels. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The archival inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint In the dead wax ,between the labels and the end of the tracks, is etched "S", followed by "Kendun V", indicating that this record was mastered at Kendun Recorders of Burbank, California before it was made at Columbia Records' pressing plant, located in Santa Maria, California. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded between Very Good Plus and Excellent because of superficial sleeve marks and a scuff on Side One, but still with surfaces that are shiny and bright, without any smudges or hairlines. I'm play grading this record as Excellent because of occasional super low levels of surfrace noise. It plays all the way through without any skips, pops or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find another rare white-labeled promotional single like this one, especially a Santa Maria pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Please read all descriptions and look at all pictures, as this is a final sale and I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for more that 50 years and always clean them before and after playback to keep them in a pristine condition. I try to describe them to the best of my ability and use record grading guidelines like the Goldmine rating system as reference. Since retiring, I've begun to sell my very esoteric collection via my Ebay store (bobsanalogemporium) and will offer discounts for multiple sales. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully and note all pictures before-hand, as I do not accept returns. Please visit my Ebay store for records, 45's, cassette tapes and comics of all different genres. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you viewing my listing.
