Description: Antique solid cherry Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machines parts storage box. Box was refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished to a soft luster using 0000 steel wool and pastewax. Box measures 8 5/8" long x 3 1/8" deep and 2 1/2" tall. Inside measurements are 8 1/8" long" wide x 2 5/8" deep and 2" tall. Constructed of 1/4" solid maple and assembled using fingerjoints. Original burgundy velvet lining. Hardware including hinges and push button latch in good working order. Felt pads protect bottom. This is beautiful one-of-a-kind item that any collector would prize.
